Midland Hotel Manchester Lighting
The Midland Hotel Manchester is an absolute beautiful building on the inside and out. And with a selection of different sized rooms it’s great a place to hold your Wedding, Ball or Event, what ever the size of your event. With 3 main suites for your party of 3 different sizes I have install uplighting in all 3 – The Derby Suite, Trafford Suite & Alexandra Suite.
Derby Suite
The smallest of the 3 main suites, situated on the 1st floor, and over looking Manchester library. as it’s a smaller room, it’s great that it has an external bar area as sometime it can get a bit too much in the evening. We can install uplighting in the main room as per the pictures or we can add a coupe more the Bar / lounge are outside just to carry the chilled mood through to the other areas. This way all your guests wills till part of the event.
Trafford Suite
The Trafford Suite is the middle sized function of the 3. situated on the main floor with it’s own bar plus access to another bar The Wyvern. Great square-ish space with ornate pillars, architrave and huge mirrors. You really feel grand in this fabulous room. Which makes it ideal for Uplighting. With the lights highlighting and casting shadows on all the details fixings, the room really comes alive with my lighting. I have installed the uplighting for the Wedding breakfast as well as just the evening. See the Gallery below.
Alexandra Suite
The Alexandra Suite is the largest function room in the Midland Hotel. Not sure what the capacity is but I’d guess 3/400 guests. This room is situated on the lower ground floor, which mean there is no natural light at all. Which in turns means coloured uplighting is the perfect lighting services to really enhance this fabulous room. The pictures I have included below are from a wedding which had the Burnt Orange vibe going on, and the other for a charity summer ball in Purple. As you’ll see Doesn’t matter what your colour is it will look awesome.
